Direct Care Worker

Direct Care Worker’s will provide services, such as assisting with daily living and home services, to individuals (in the individual’s home) who need assistance as a result of a disability and/or chronic illness. Services may include, but not limited to:

• light housecleaning
• laundry
• meal preparation
• transportation
• companionship
• bathing
• shaving
• positioning
• dressing
• respite

  Direct Care Workers are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring, professional, and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant agency policies and DDD (Department of Developmental Disabilities) standards. Applicants must obtain fingerprint clearance and must be able to pass a background check. Certifications and experience a plus, but not required, as in-house training will be provided.
